Maghan’s mixed experiences as a college athlete inspired her passion to see Jesus transform athletes and athletic departments through the ministry of Athletes InterVarsity. She was a member of the women’s hockey national championship team at the University of Minnesota Duluth and played collegiate hockey and lacrosse for the University of New Hampshire. Maghan helped to plant and lead the athletes ministry in New England, which then spread across the country. She lives with her husband, Orlando Perez, and twin boys, Xavier and Ezekiel, in Philadelphia, PA.
